Sligo Physio Space is a well-established private clinic with a strong reputation for excellence in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and patient care. We provide specialist, high quality care using evidence-based practice and specialised equipment to patients with various presentations from MSK, Sports Injury, Post-operative rehabilitation etc.
We have a position to fill and are excited to offer a current opportunity for a physiotherapist who is passionate about clinical reasoning, hands-on care, and empowering patients through exercise based rehabilitation.
Role
We are recruiting a motivated physiotherapist who is ready to take the next step in their MSK career. In this role, you will:
- Work in our busy, supportive clinic environment
- Develop your clinical expertise with mentorship and ongoing professional support
- Provide reformer Pilates classes to injured populations and healthy populations
Applicant Requirements
You should only apply if:
- You are currently based in Ireland and have previous private practice experience
- passionate about advancing your physiotherapy career
- experienced in working within private practice
- CORU registered and current ISCP member
- Combined Professional Indemnity and Public / Products Liability Insurance to practice
- Demonstrable experience and competency of working in specialist areas of Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Sports Physiotherapy, Post-surgical Orthopedics, Chronic Pain Management & Rehabilitation
- Demonstrable experience and competency in the delivery of clinical exercise
- ‘Team-player’ with multidisciplinary oriented approach
- Excellent communication (Written and Verbal)
- IT competency in use of electronic patient notes and IT-based diary management systems
- Ability to work early mornings and evenings is essential
- Must be able to work well on own initiative and as well as within a team environment. Great people skills, good work ethic and effective communication with GPs and Surgeons.
Desirable Job Requirements
- Post graduate qualification in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy / Sport & Exercise Medicine / Sport Physiotherapy / Rehabilitation / Chronic Pain/
